Third week of March

Today I came late to the class for about twenty minutes because the last class is physical education where it takes place outside the school then we got a traffic jam on the way back to school. My physical education teacher accompanied us the music students to the music room and Ms. Alma said sorry for the lateness of the students to Mr. Herry. Then Mr. Herry give us permission of time to change our clothes and then join the class. When I came in to the classroom, everyone is in his or her group performance. Discussing, practicing and also try to play it together as a group. After some time that we have practice, Mr. Herry asked each of the group to perform in front of the class although we haven’t prepared yet. My group is the first group, violin and woodwind have already good enough but then piano and guitar have to steady with the tempo and follow the beat of others. After that it’s time for the next two groups to perform and I enjoyed their performance. Then Mr. Herry decided to send us to one of the teacher either from guitar teacher, violin teacher and woodwind teacher. Mr. Herry told us to asked that teacher’s help to improve and practice our song that we will be performing later on. Then our group got the supervisor from Mr. Harry. We go to Mr. Harry’s room and practice there. Mr. Harry said that we have to practice more especially the piano, which are Victoria and I because in this song, piano is very important and we’re not ready yet to play the piano very well. All of us still need more practice to make a good performance later on. And that’s the end of the music class.

Today is the last day we have music class for term 3. First of all, Mr. Herry give us the paper where we have to make an evaluation for him to improve on his teaching. After that, Mr. Herry let the students who haven’t do the assessment of performing their own melody improvisation to do their assessment. I’m enjoying my friend’s performance and it’s nice to listen to their improvisation. Then Mr. Herry asked us to perform in front of the class once again our group performance but due to the reason that it’s already time for our lunch so Mr. Herry let us to have our lunch first. After we have our lunch, then we come back to the music room to do the performance in front of the class. My group is the first group to perform and it’s still need a lot of improvement. Then it follows with the other two groups where I think they also still need improvement. And then after we done with all the group performance, Mr. Herry let us to go our supervisor teacher for this group performance. Then we practice again to play Fly Me To The Moon with Mr. Harry and Mr. Harry teach Victoria and I to play the piano for it again because both of us haven’t really know on how to play it. And that’s the end of the class and also it’s the end of the term.

This is the seventeenth video that I have recorded in term 3. In this video, I’m practicing to play the accompaniment of Fly Me To The Moon. Actually there’s the intro for this song but I haven’t practice to play it yet. However, in this video I also haven’t good in playing the song yet and I still need more practice to play it and learn more about the chords that I have to play for this song.

This is the eighteenth video that I have recorded in term 3. In this video, I’m practicing to play the accompaniment of Fly Me To The Moon again. This time I have tried to included the intro part of the song but then I haven’t good to play that part. For the middle part, I have change a little bit of the notes that I played but still in the same chord. I think this time is not even better than in the last video because I still got stuck in the middle of the song and I still need time to practice it.
