6 October 2009
Today we got a paper of the traditional song lyrics. There are two song that are La Bamba and What a Wonderful World. After that, we also learned about the musical form. We make a note in our music book and if we are not yet done, then it will be our homework for the next session.
Today in piano class, I play my own melody of the sixteen bars with the pattern of AA'BA' and I think I have did it well because it's an easy melody to play.

Today Mr.Herry checked our homework of making the sixteen bars melody and now he asked me to write it on the board to make a sample for the others. After that, Mr.Herry also asked me to play it on the piano. Then we also sing Gundul-Gundul Pacul together. And our homework is to make a thirty two bars melody.
Today in piano class, I play my own melody of the sixteen bars again. Actually, there's not much time for playing the instrument and I'm the last one again to get the chance to play.

Today we sing Gundul-Gundul Pacul song in front of the class together with the piano group. And Mr.Herry also play my melody and he tell me that my melody is too high and it will hard for me to sing it. Then he suggested to change some of the notes.
Today in piano class, I play my own melody of the thirty two bars. I also play it with the left hand but still not good because I'm still confuse with the left hand.

Today I'm late to come to the class. And then, we sing Gundul-Gundul Pacul for once and then we learn together to sing the La Bamba song. It's a little bit hard for me to sing La Bamba because I'm not used to the language but if only "lalala" it's easier and I can do it well.
Today in piano class, I just play my own melody again. And I haven't make any changes in the melody and I have to make it more lower so it's not too high to sing it.

Today we have an assessment to sing Gundul-Gundul Pacul in front of the class in partner. Actually Mr.Herry asked to do it boy and girl but because of not enough boys in the class, my partner is also a girl and she's my bestfriends. We also write our draft of the thirty two bars melody. And at last, we practice to sing the Western song that is What a Wonderful World.
Today in piano class, there's only a very limited time before the time for us to go home for this instrument class. So, I didn't have any chance to play the piano.

Today we practice both of the song of the Western song that are La Bamba song and What a Wonderful World song. After that, we start the assessment and I'm the first one because it start from the last alphabet. I choose La Bamba song. I with my partner which is my best friend, sing it together. I think it was not really good because I'm late to start singing the song.
Today in piano class,I'm the first to play the piano because in the last session, I did not get a chance to play.I play my own melody again and Mr.Herry said that it's good.

Today we just discuss about the Term 2 topics like what we should do in this term and what is the due date for all of that things. Mr.Herry also discuss about our Finale homework that is we need to put our melody using the Finale software. He explain it and give an example of it in the computer. And at last, he also explain to us about our midi homework for the next session.
Today in piano class, I'm the second one to play. I play my own melody again, maybe this is the fourth or fifth times that I played this melody. I think I play it better than the last time because one day before, I practice it. And I also need to change a little bit in the end of the melody.

Today Mr.Herry checked our homework about the Finale software and the midi files that has been transpose to the Finale software. And we also learned about the C major with the first, second and third inversion. He also asked me to play my melody in front of the whole class. And at the end of the session, he give us a worksheet for homework.
Today in piano class, I didn't play anything because in the theory class I have play my melody. I just did my music homework that Mr.Herry give me in last the theory class for homework that will be due for the next class.
