3 November 2009
Today Mr.Herry checked all of our homework. The worksheet and also all of the projects of the Finale software. I have completed all of the task, so Mr.Herry didn't call my name anymore. At the first, he have called my name once and he said that I have done it all of them. I also have updated my blog in the last weekend and for the next class is our rehearsal of our own composition melody.
Today in piano class, I did the rehearsal of my own composition melody. I'm the first one and Mr.Herry didn't give any comment. After I finish playing the melody, my friends give me a comment about it.
Victoria said that it's a good melody and she is the first one to give that comment.
Jacintha said that it's a good melody and it's nice to hear it.
Karina said that it's a good variation of the left hand. Jennie said that the melody is very good. And the last, Min Ji said that it's a good melody.
I also give comments for my friends.
Victoria, it's better than the last melody that she have played.
Jacintha, she play with smooth.
Karina, it will be better if she practice more.
Jennie, it's a good melody but it will be better if she have some rest in the melody.
Min Ji, it will be better if she practice more and I think she's still working on it.

Today is our assessment day for the piano and violin/cello. Before the assessment was started, we wrote the final of our melody. Piano is the first instrument group and I'm the last one to play in the piano group.
I think I have done it well on the first, but at the end of the melody I forgot the left hand notes. I think I need more practice and I need to really remember it if I want to remember all of the melody.And we don't have any instrument class for today.

Today is also our assessment day but it's for the woodwind or flute and the guitar. There's also one of the piano student that have the assessment today because she was absent last time. Before they started, Mr.Herry give them time to practice for about ten minutes. While waiting, we are watching our video when we were assessed until they are done practicing. I'm just listening and watching the assessment performance of my friends. And at the last of the session, Mr. Herry give us homework about the website for us to study for the quiz.

12 November 2009
Today Mr.Herry tell us about our scores of the solo performance and also he distributed our last homework of the seventh chord major scales. After that, we learn about the major and minor scales sharp key signature. At the end, before we go to the instrument class, Mr.Herry reminded us to study for the test next class.
Today in piano class, we practice our hearing of melody with four bars and it is four by four. There are three melody and I got it all correct. After that, Mr. Herry asked me to play the B minor harmonic scales but I forgot how to do it. So, he decided to make it as a homework for me and I also need to memorize my own composition melody for the practical assessment which is three more weeks from now.

Today is our quiz day for the theory. Before we start the quiz, Mr. Herry show us the www.teoria.com first and then after some minutes, he start to give us the quiz paper. There are two parts in the quiz, one is the history and one more is about the chords and the musical forms. For the history, Mr. Herry give us ten minutes to do that and if we are done before ten minutes, we can proceed to the next part that was twenty minutes long. Some of my friends done it really fast, so Mr. Herry have a time to checked their work and then he tell us how many wrongs they have. And at the end of the session, Mr. Herry also talk and show us about our blog and he reminded us again to updated our blog as soon as possible.
Today in piano class, I play and practice the B minor harmonic scale again and actually it must be played two octaves but I only played it one octave. And some of my friends that I need to do it again but the time is not enough for that. So, Mr. Herry decided that I will play it again on the next session. And for the next lesson, I have to play the C and B minor harmonic scale and I think it must be two octaves.

On this day I was absent because I'm not feeling well.

24 November 2009
Today Mr. Herry take the attendance and he asked me why I was absent last session. Then we practice together the codaly. Colady is the do, re, mi, fa ,sol, la, si, do using our both hands to show the sound. We need to remember it and one by one we were check by Mr. Herry. After that, we do it using a song with the piano group and my other friend that judge me said that I do it very well and I have no mistake. And at the end, we decided the due date of the completion of the developmental workbook that next Tuesday.
Today in piano class, I didn't do anything at the first because today is the rehearsal day for my friends that have a recital tomorrow. Mr. Herry ask me and give me a chance to join but I don't want to join it. Then because the time is still enough, Mr. Herry said that we need to practice for the assessment and I have to remember my own composition melody to get a better score.
