Grade 9B

1 December 2009
Today Mr. John take the attendance. And then we practice the Kodaly again as our exercise for music. Then Mr. Harry come and he join us to do the Kodaly with the song. After that, the teachers asked us to go to the front to do it two by two. And I'm the second partner to come in front of the class to do it.
Today in piano class, I was the first to play the piano. Mr. Herry asked me to play one scale and my own composition song. Mr. Herry choose the scale and I have to play it. This is the practice for our assessment. I still need more practice to make it better. And at the last, we practice our hearing skill by listening to the simple melody that Mr. Herry play it on the piano and we need to write it in our music notebook.

Today Mr. Herry take our attendance. Then he checked all of our homework and I have completed all of them. And then, it's rehearsal time for the assessment. From each instrument group, we choose one person to do the hom-pim-pa to choose who is the first group to perform. My group, piano group, is the third group. I thought I didn't get the chance to play but then I still have enough time to play. I didn't do the scale but I have remember my own composition song completely and I play it with the pedal.
We don't have any instrument class for today.

Today is the last day of the music class. On the written test day, I was absent so I do it today. While I'm doing the written test, Mr. Herry asked who haven't update the blog and Mr. Herry give punishment for the one who haven't done it. The punishment is to play the angklung. After that, we continue the rehearsal that wasn't finish yet last time. Two people from guitar group, four people from piano group and all of the member of woodwind group. And then Mr. Herry discuss about the written test that I've done it before.

15 December 2009
Today is the last day of exam and that is music exam. At first, Mr. Herry give us time to practice around fifteen minutes. Piano is the first group so the others have more time to practice because it's one by one. In the practice time, Mr. Herry tell us to practice the scales that he said to us to play and I think he asked me to play around two or three scales. I'm the fourth in the order of the exam. I enter the room and then I bow to the teachers. Then I play the scale that the Mr. Herry asked me to play. I didn't do it well because I make a lot of mistake in playing the scale and then I play my own composition melody. In playing my own composition melody, I think I did it very well and I didn't make any mistake. And then I wait around one hour until the exam is finish. At last, we take pictures and said goodbye because today is the last day before the holiday and the last time we have music class for grade 9.
