Term 2 of Grade 10 D

20 September 2010

Today is the first day of term 2. First of all, today Mr. Herry introduce about the up coming assessments that we will have to do it in this term 2. After that, Mr. Herry tell us by reading it out loud in front of the class about our score for the Music Developmental Workbook that we did in term 1. Then we discuss about the first assessment, which is due next Tuesday that is singing in-group. We’re discussing about how many members should be in a group, who are the members and things like that. After awhile, all of us agree that in one group will consist of 6 members and my group members are Shanika Indira (the group leader), Saskia, me, Ju Yeop Lee, Min Soo and Jeffrey Pribadi. At last before going to the instrument class, Mr. Herry tell us to write about our homework which is completing the major 7th and dominant 7th from C – B.

Piano Class

Today is the first day in term 2 of having the piano class again. I’m not the first one who got the chance to play the piano. Today I play the major 7th and dominant 7th from C – B. First of all, I’m doing it going upward from C – B and I feel that it’s not really hard. Then Mr. Herry ask me to do it downward from B – C and I feel that’s hard for me to do it. I think I still need more practice for next especially the downward from B – C.

Today is the second time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry us ask to check our uniform. Many of us didn’t really wear the proper uniform like what Mr. Herry expected us to be like our tie, it should be tied properly so it makes us looks in a good appearance. Only for today the checking of uniform took a lot of time. After that, Mr. Herry begin to check our attendance and our resources. Then, Mr. Herry give us the time to study about the major 7th and dominant 7th for about 5 minutes while he’s taking the quiz paper in the photocopy room. As he arrived in the music room, all of us have to close our notes and start doing the quiz for about 15 minutes. After that, we check our friends quiz paper and I make 2 mistakes in that quiz. At last, Mr. Herry tell us to go the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 2nd time of having the piano class. As well as yesterday, I’m not the first one who got the chance to play the piano. Today I play the major 7th and dominant 7th from C – B again. But today I only play it in upward and not downward because of the limited time that we have. So, for next time, I’ll make sure that I practice more and do it well.


This is the first video of my-self playing the piano that I recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing the major 7th and dominant 7th from C –B in both way, upward and also downward. I think I’m doing well enough in going upward but in going downward I got a little bit of stuck where I was stop playing the in middle to think first and continue to play again. Although I have practice it, I still feel that going downward is a little bit hard for me.

Today is the third time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our uniform and I’m wearing my tie properly because I don’t want Mr. Herry to tell me about it again like the other day before. After done with checking our uniform, Mr. Herry check our attendance and also our resources. Then Mr. Herry give us time to practice the group singing assessment that will due on next Monday. After some time practicing, Mr. Herry ask us to do the rehearsal of the group singing assessment and my group is the third one to perform. I and my group is singing I Gotta Feeling – Black Eyed Peas and the result of it is not good at all because we haven’t really prepare and not really sure yet about the song that we will be singing in the assessment. At last, Mr. Herry tell us to go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 3rd time of having the piano class. I’m got the second chance to play the piano. Today I play the major 7th inversion in both ways, upward and downward from C – D only. This is due to the reason that the time of this class is limited and I’m not really good at it yet so need time to complete the task that Mr. Herry ask me to play. I need to practice more and next time, Mr. Herry ask me to play it from C – B.

Today is the fourth time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and then we immediately start the notation test. The test is all about the major 7th, dominant 7th and the inversion the major 7th. We spent about one session to complete this test but actually we only have half an hour to do this written test. After we done doing the test, in the last page of that test paper there are reflection that we need to fill it too and it’s about our reflection of the test itself. Just after I submitted the paper, I heard that my friends that one of them is Bb major and it’s different from B major. I just notice about it that time and surely I make mistakes in that question. Next time, I have to read the question clearly and before we to go to the instrument class, Mr. Herry reminded us about the singing group assessment on the 4th October 2010.

Piano Class

Today is the 4th time of having the piano class. Today, I’m lucky number one who got the chance to play the piano. I play the major 7th inversion from C – B in both ways, upward and downward. I still need a lot of practice because I still stuck in the middle of it and I make common mistakes in the finger number. Mr. Herry reminded me to practice it well, record the video of it and uploaded it my blog.

I still make mistakes and got stuck in the middle when I’m playing it. So, I will practice more in it and hopefully, in the next video I’m doing it better and not stop while I’m playing it.

In this video, I’m playing the same thing like before that is the major 7th inversion from C – B in both ways, upward and downward. The difference between this video and the last video is that in this video, I’m playing it better because I have practice it before I recorded this video. Although it’s not perfect without mistakes, I think that I’ve play better in this video.

Today is the 5th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our uniform and our appearance especially about our tie and hair. After that, we discuss about the singing assessment that should be done today. We ask Mr. Herry kindness to make it tomorrow and Mr. Herry agree. So, the singing assessment is due tomorrow. Almost all of the groups haven’t ready to perform yet for today, we still need a little bit more time to practice. Therefore, with the kindness from Mr. Herry we will do the singing assessment tomorrow and today we have another chance to do the last rehearsal or we can just say it as a practice. Before doing the rehearsal, we do the warming up with Mr. Herry because Mr. Harry wasn’t there to help us doing these warming up. After that, we start with the rehearsal. The first group that is Ann’s group singing Just The Way You Are – Bruno Mars, then continue with the second group that is Jeffrey Koby’s group singing No Such Thing – John Mayer, the next group which is my group singing True Colors – Glee Version and the last group that is Ivan’s group singing Bad Day – David Powter.

Today we don’t have instrument class because we use all the time to do the preparation for the singing assessment.

Today is the 6th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry give us time around 5 – 10 minutes to change our clothes or to prepare our self before starting with the singing assessment in-group. My group doesn’t change the clothes; we just wear our school uniform so we use this time to practice. After that, Mr. Herry ask us to choose either staying inside the classroom to watch the other groups performance or stay outside the class to practice. We agree to stay outside and practice for the last time. My group is the 3rd group so we still have time to practice, while practicing we use that time very wisely by taking this last practice very seriously. It comes to be our turn to perform; the first group (Ann’s group) and the second group (Jeffrey Koby’s group) have done their performance. Therefore they stay inside the classroom and become our audience. My group performance is singing the True Colors – Glee Version using the minus one of it and also one of my group member (Ju Yeop Lee) play the guitar of this song. I think the result of this singing performance is good enough and we have done it as the best that we can do. The comments from the teachers are we need to be more confident and wear a better costume that suits with the song for next time. After done with the singing assessment, Mr. Herry give us the reflection paper of this assessment. While we are writing the reflection, Mr. Herry show us everybody performance that have been recorded as a video using the camera. We are enjoying looking at the videos and Mr. Herry said that he would put it on YouTube later on.

Today we don’t have any instrument class again. We have spent all the time to do the singing assessment and due to this reason, we got no time left for the instrument class.


This is the fourth video of my-self that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m practicing for the group singing assessment and the song is True Colors – Glee Version. I use the music that has the singing version because I’ve not confident enough to sing it by myself. I’m singing only until the first verse and the first refrain. I still need the music that has the singing because sometimes I’m still late to start singing the song.





This is the fifth video of my-self that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m still doing the same thing that is practicing for the group singing assessment and the song is True Colors – Glee Version. I’m using the music that has the singing version of it again because I’m still confused on how to sing this verse that is the verse 2. I need the help of the singing version to guide me in singing this verse 2 especially in the middle part of it. In this video, I’m singing from the verse 2 until the second refrain that is just after the verse 2.

ABSENT

Today is the 8th time of having music class in term 2. Yesterday I was absent because I’m not feeling well. First of all, today Mr. Herry check our attendance and Mr. Herry also check our resources. After that, Mr. Herry tell us on how to write the chord and Mr. Herry also ask us to write our homework which is making 8 bars of chords. Then, Mr. Herry give us the example of how to play the chords with the accompaniment of slow, medium and fast tempo and also the melody using the keyboard. Later on, Mr. Herry will ask us to make the melody with the chords that we already have now. At last, Mr. Herry let us go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 5th time of having the piano class. Today we learn about the left hand chord accompaniment. Mr. Herry write in the white board about it and after that we were ask to play it in the piano. Before we play it, Mr. Herry give us the example first then we start to play it. While waiting for the turn to play the piano, we were ask to write down what Mr. Herry have wrote in the white board. Due to the limited time that we have for this class, I didn’t have the chance to play the piano for today. So, Mr. Herry tell me and my other friends who haven’t got the chance too to practice it at home and show it to him in the next class.




This is the sixth video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing the left-hand chord accompaniment that I’ve written it down in my music notebook. I only play with one hand that is my left hand and this video is very short because I just play this accompaniment twice for each of them. I think I’m doing it well enough because it’s not really hard for me.





This is the seventh video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing the left-hand chord accompaniment again that I’ve written it down in my music notebook. After I finish playing with this one hand of chord accompaniment, I stop for a moment and then continue with playing the chord accompaniment with the melody for the right hand. I’m still making a stop in playing it so I think I still need more practice and I haven’t show it to Mr. Herry to confirm about it.

Today is the 9th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry tell us about the winner for the Binus Art Fiesta last week. From our class, there are two people who become the winner for it, Ju Yeop Lee the second winner for the guitar and Victoria Kwee the third winner for the piano. After that, Mr. Herry tell us and teach us about the scales. At first, Mr. Herry teach us about the major scales and also about the relative of it. Then, Mr. Herry also teach us on how to make the natural scales, minor scales, minor harmonic scales and the melodic scales of it. At last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 6th time of having the piano class. Today, I’m the last one to got the chance to play the piano. I’m playing the left hand chord accompaniment again from C – E only because of the limited time that we have for today’s instrument class. I have to practice more for it because I’ve just practice the left hand chord accompaniment in C only but actually we have to play it from C – B. So, that’s why I have practice more for it.

Today is the 10th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and then Mr. Herry also check our resources. After that, we discuss about the b minor, f# minor and c# minor in natural, harmonic and melodic scales. Some of my friends haven’t really understood about the relative of the major and the minor scales so Mr. Herry explain it again. While my friends doing it in the white board, Mr. Herry check our homework about these things and it takes a lot of time. At last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Today is the 7th time of having the piano class. Today I didn’t got the chance to play the piano and it’s due to the reasons that we don’t have much time and we really have very limited time for today’s instrument class. So, Mr. Herry ask tell us about the homework that is to learn playing the harmonic scales in the piano.



This is the 8th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing the left hand chord accompaniment, repeating for each of the style for two times and I play it starting from the C until B. This video takes a long time and I have tried my best not to make any mistakes in it but eventually I can’t do it. I still make some mistakes although it’s only little.


This is the 9th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing the minor harmonic scales from C – B. Eventually, I can’t play without making any mistakes in it and it also happen in this video. I make mistakes while I’m playing these scales and I think I need to practice it again to make it better next time.

Today is the 11th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry is not the one who checks our attendance and also the resources but Mr. Herry ask one of us that is Juan to check the attendance and the resources. After that, Mr. Herry check our music homework that actually was due last week. The homework is about the major scales and all the minor scales (natural, harmonic, melodic). So, Mr. Herry check this homework and due to the reasons that some of my friends haven’t really understand these things, Mr. Herry explain it to all of us for one more time and until all of us understand about this lesson. Then we have to make the 16 bars melody of our own composition. Before leaving the class, Mr. Herry tell us that tomorrow we will have a quiz about minor scales.

Today we don’t have any instrument class.

Today is the 12th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and also our resources. After that, Mr. Herry give us a very short time for us to study for the minor scales quiz. Then we do this quiz for about 15 to 20 minutes. This quiz is all about the minor scales that include the minor natural, minor harmonic and minor melodic. Mr. Herry help us to do this quiz by helping us with giving the major scales of it in the white board where we can copy it to our quiz paper. After we done with the quiz, in the last page of the quiz we have to write about our reflection for the quiz. Finish with the quiz, then Mr. Herry check the 16 bars of our own melody composition. And at last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 8th time of having the piano class. Mr. Herry ask me to play my own melody composition of the 16 bars because I think it’s only me who have ready with the composition. My other friends haven’t completed it yet; therefore I’m the only one that was asked to play the piano. After that, I ask Mr. Herry to help me to use the Finale software using my laptop. For next class, I have to practice playing this melody composition.


This is the 10th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing my own 16 bars melody composition. This video, I haven’t practice yet before therefore in this video, I’m not playing the melody really good. I only have practice playing this melody for about two times. I’m still not too familiar with the next note that’s why I’m making stops while I’m playing.

This is the 11th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing my own 16 bars melody composition again. In this video, I think I’m doing it better than last time. Before recording this video, I have practice to play it first and in this video I almost didn’t make any stops while I’m playing the melody.

Today is the 13th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and also our resources. Then, Mr. Herry check our homework of the 16 bars of our own melody composition that we have make in our music book. After checking our homework, Mr. Herry tell us about the next task that is modifying our own melody composition of the 16 bars to become 32 bars with the pattern of A A’ B A’ . So there are 8 bars melody of the A, 8 bars melody of the A’ and also 8 bars melody of the B then repeat the A’ for the last 8 bars. Tomorrow, Mr. Herry will check our 32 bars of our melody composition and I have done with it so I submit both the hard copy that I have printed of the 16 bars melody and the 32 bars melody. Tonight, I will send the soft copy of both of it, the 16 bars and also the 32 bars melody. At last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Today is the 9th time of having the piano class. I’m the first one again who got the chance to play the piano because almost all of my friends haven’t done making their 32 bars melody composition. Then, Mr. Herry ask me to play my 32 bars melody. One finger of my left hand is hurt so Mr. Herry help me to play the piano. I’m playing the right hand only and Mr. Herry help me by playing the left hand for me. Then one of my friends, Victoria done with her 32 bars and Mr. Herry ask her to play it in the piano. At last, it’s time for us to leave the music room.

Today is the 14th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, today Mr. Herry check our attendance and also our resources. Then, Mr. Herry give us a piece of paper where we have to write down our own composition of the 32 bars melody in it. Mr. Herry tell us to write the title, melody and the lyrics. I haven’t made the lyrics yet so I just submit the paper with the title and the 32 bars melody. After we submit the paper, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Today is the 10th time of having the piano class. Today, I’m lucky number one again who got the chance to play the piano. Mr. Herry ask me to play my 32 bars melody of my own composition. Due to the reason that Mr. Herry forgot where did he put my paper that I submitted yesterday, so I use my laptop to look at the melody. I play the piano not too good because the finger of my left hand is still hurt and it makes me hard to play the piano.

While I’m playing and recording this video, one finger of my left hand is still hurt so I can’t play the piano really well and I haven’t really practice playing this melody. While I’m playing and recording this video, the condition of my finger in my left hand is not really hurt so I can play the piano better than before. Although I have tried to play my best, I still make a mistake while playing this melody. Therefore, I have to practice more to play this melody.

Today is the 15th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry give us some comments for us on how to improve our performance in this music class and it took around 15 minutes. After that, Mr. Herry asked us who is absent for today’s class. Then, Mr. Herry told us about our score of the music booklet that we had done it last time. Mr. Herry read the score out loud to the class and he gives the booklet back to us. Due to the reasons that I got the full score for this work, then Mr. Herry asked me to collect it back to him. After that, Mr. Herry checked our composition melody in the finale that we have submitted to him. Mr. Herry randomly choose two people’s work from each instrument class to be an example to be shown in front of the class and after checking the work, Mr. Herry give some feedback to make it better. At last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Today is the 11th time of having the piano class. I’m the second one who got the chance to play the piano. I’m playing my own composition melody again of the 32 bars. I didn’t use any papers and I didn’t see my notes at all. I’ve tried to memorize the melody but eventually, I haven’t really remembered it properly and I still make some mistakes in playing the melody. Next time, hopefully I will play it better.

Today is the 16th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry checked our attendance and also our resources that we brought to the music class. And then, Mr. Herry asked some of the late students to sing the Indonesia Pusaka song in front of the class. After that, Mr. Herry told us about our score for the notation quiz of the minor scales. Then, Mr. Herry asked two people from each instrument class to play their own melody composition. Some of my friends haven’t really learned to play the melody using their instrument therefore some of them only play around the first 8 bars of the melody. At last, Mr. Herry asked us to give back the quiz papers back to him and then Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 11th time of having the piano class. Due to the reasons that the teacher for violin is absent, so the violin students is staying in the music room with us the piano students. Mr. Herry just instructed the piano students to practice playing their own melody. So, today I practice playing my own melody again of the 32 bars. I have to remember the melody properly because I’m still making mistakes and I think it because I haven’t really remembered the melody. Next time, I will try my best to remember my melody or I will look at my notes while playing the piano.




This is the 14th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing and practicing my own composition melody of the 32 bars. While I’m playing the piano, I’m playing my melody in a slow tempo because I just want to focus to the notes that I’m playing but in the end, I still stop in the middle of it and I also still making mistakes in playing the melody. Hopefully in the next video, I can do it better.


This is the 15th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing and practicing my own composition melody of the 32 bars again. This time, I’m playing the melody in a faster tempo than before. I think this time I’m playing it better than the last video. I didn’t stop in the middle of the melody but in the end of the song, I still make mistake before I forgot the last 2 bars. Overall, I think this video is still better than the last video. Next time, I will try not to make any mistake in playing the melody.

Today is the 17th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry told us about the reminders that the 10 D students got from all the classes. After that, Mr. Herry give us one more chance for the people who want to re-do the second notation test together with the people who haven’t done the quiz yet because on that day they are absent. Then Mr. Herry asked us to play our own melody composition using the instrument that we played. The first is the piano group and we’re doing it in random order so 1st: Saskia, 2nd: Emily, 3rd: me and 4th: Victoria. After that continue with the people from the guitar group also with the random order so 1st: Ann, 2nd: Ju Yeop Lee, 3rd: Raymond. While I’m playing my melody, I still make mistakes therefore I think I still need to practice more. At last, Mr. Herry let us to go to the instrument class.

Today is the 12th time of having the piano class. Due to the reason that I have played and practice playing my own melody composition in front of the class so I don’t have to do anything in this piano class.

Today is the 18th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry is not the one who’s checking our attendance for today. He asked one of the students that is Harsya to do the checking of the attendance and the resources. After that, Mr. Herry give us time to practice playing the melody using our instrument in the instrument class for about 15 minutes. Then, all of us gather again in the music room to do the rehearsal of playing our own melody composition. Some of us have done it yesterday so today only the one who haven’t do it will do the rehearsal in front of the class. Starting from the people in the piano group, continue with the people from the guitar group, people from the flute/saxophone group and the last is people from the violin group.

Today we don’t have any instrument class.


This is the 16th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m practicing my own melody composition again. While I’m recording this video, I didn’t look at my notes again for the melody. I have remembered my own melody composition. Although I have remembered it well, when I’m playing the piano, I forgot a little bit of it especially in the middle part of the song. So I still make mistakes in this video and I got stuck for a while. I have to remember it properly and try not to make any mistakes.


This is the 17th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m practicing my own melody composition again. While I’m recording this video, I didn’t look at my notes for the melody. I have remembered my own melody composition. I think I still have to improve in playing it because I’m still making mistakes although it’s only a little and it’s not a mistake but little bit forgotten the next notes. Hopefully, I can do it better in the next video.

Today is the 19th time of having music class in term 2. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and our resources. Today is our time to do the rehearsal before the assessment. In preparation for the rehearsal, Mr. Herry give us time to rehearse our playing of the own composition melody with our instrument teacher in the instrument room for about 15 minutes. Piano group is the first, then follow with the violin group, woodwind group and guitar group. I got the lucky number one in piano group. Straight after 15 minutes, Mr. Herry ask us to start the rehearsal but the others haven’t come yet. So, I as the first one and the second one from piano group do the rehearsal before all the others come to the music room. While we are playing the song, Mr. Herry recorded the video for the progression of our performance. I’m still making mistakes probably around 2 mistakes and I have to completely remember the song. Almost all of my friends who did the rehearsal today haven’t or not remembering their song. Due to the limited time that we have, not all of us do the rehearsal. Today, we don’t have any instrument class because we spent all of the time to do the rehearsal.

Today is the 20th time of having music class in term 2. First of all Mr. Herry check our attendance and our resources that we bring to the music class. Some of my friends from 10 F were late but Mr. Herry asked them to get the pass from the previous teacher so they didn’t have any lateness. Yesterday we haven’t finish yet with the rehearsal so we continue it today. Starting two students from the woodwind group and then all students from the guitar group. Mr. Harry and Mr. John help their students in doing the rehearsal by accompanying them while playing the melody. At last, we can go to the instrument class.

Piano Class

Today is the 13th time of having the piano class. I’m the second one who got the chance to play the piano. Mr. Herry ask me to play my own melody composition again. After that, Mr. Herry give the comment based on my playing and he help me to play it better by making some improvement. The improvement is adding the coda in the last part of my melody. Mr. Herry also told me that I have to play it with our feeling and be careful in playing with the pedal, he remind me not to make it 2 bars at the same time but one bar at a time.




This is the 18th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing my own melody composition again. While playing the melody, I’m still making a little bit of mistakes. I also still forgot the last part of it that is the coda part because I haven’t really remember that part and Mr. Herry just told mea about that coda. Hopefully, in the next video I can do it better.


This is the 19th video of my-self playing the piano that I have recorded in term 2. In this video, I’m playing my own melody composition again and again. In playing the melody, finally I’m not making any serious mistakes and I think if I compare my playing of the melody to all the others video this is the best. For the coda part, I also have done it well enough.

Today is the 21th time of having music class in term 2 and this is the last reflection that I have to write for this term. First of all, Mr. Herry check our attendance and our resources. After that, Mr. Herry give us time to do the warming up in instrument room before the assessment of playing our own melody composition start. After about 15 minutes, everybody gather in the music room again.

The first is from the piano group. Emily is the first one, she’s playing it very good and although she remember the song but still make a little bit mistakes. Second is Tiara, she played good enough but still need more time to practice. Saskia is the third, I like the song and actually she remembered the song but she’s not confident enough if she didn’t read the notes. Fourth is Victoria, she played well dong, the song is nice but she still reading the notes. I’m the fifth, I’ve tried my best to do this assessment. I’m too nervous and therefore I make a little bit mistakes while playing the song. The last from piano is Yovita, it’s a nice song but sometimes the tempo is faster than the other part of the song.

Move on to the violin group. The first one is Dwi, I think he need more practice to make it better next time. Frederik is the second, he played very good although he said that he’s nervous. The third is Juan, nice performance but he makes a little bit mistakes while playing the song. Marco is the fourth, he played random song on the spot that was accompanied by Mr. Sadrakh. The fifth is Marcus, he played well done. Ais is the last from violin, he played well but the end of the song is like not yet finished and he got comment/feedback from the teachers.

Next is from the woodwind group. The first one is Caleb, even though he only practice a little but he have tried his best to do the assessment. I think he needs to practice more to make it better. Brian is the second, it’s a nice song and he’s lucky because Mr. Tommy got to see his performance although it’s only for a short time. The third is Ivan, nice performance, the song is awesome and he remembered his song. Jeffrey Pribadi is the fourth, he played well. Min Soo should be the fourth but he doesn’t bring his instrument. The last one from woodwind group is Wahyu, the instrument sound is not that loud and I think he needs more practice.

The last is from the guitar group. The first one is Ann, she got time to practice first in front of the class before she do the assessment. Mr. John accompanied her using the guitar and Mr. Harry accompanied her using the organ. I think she still need more practice and her song is mostly repetition of the same notes. Harsya is the second, he also accompanied by those two teachers. I think he needs more practice and he makes some mistakes in playing the song. The third is Jeffrey Koby then continue with Raymond and the last is Shanika Indira.

Due to the limited time so before the guitar people able to finish their assessment, it’s time for us to have break. Mr. Herry told us that the one who have done the assessment can leave and the one who haven’t done it have to stay in the music room. Therefore I choose to have my break and leave the music room and that’s why I didn’t make the self-comment on the last three performance of the assessment.
